For Love of a Nap

Confession.

I used to have a slight distain for "Texans" until a girl from Texas proved me wrong. My good friend Lindsey gives the state of Texas a good name.
So when she recently asked me to make a preschool nap pad cover for her little Longhorn, Jackson, I happy obliged. After careful consideration of the best design for three year old naptime, here's the prototype. Nap anyone?

Nap pad cover, like a sleeve for pad to slip into. Pillow attached with Velcro for easy washing and non "slippery".
Comfy top blankie, cotton top and minky bottom, velcro attachments on one side only so feet don't get stuck (and legs don't grow too fast!)and easy to wash just one piece if needed.
Velcro enclosures at top of pad for easy closing & washing. Boys are sweaty nappers.
So, are preschool nap pads something just utilized in the grand state of Texas, or have you seen these anywhere else in the "lesser" states? Wondering if I should offer this on my website...

ps - I love to sew but don't have much experience. I wish I lived nearer to you so I could learn from the master! Carolina LOVES her blankie now, by the way! It's her new fav and her "silkie" goes to bed with her every night. :)

I think that would be a great idea! I live in central Arkansas. I just enrolled my 15 month old in Mother's Day out. I found your link in search of a nap pad cover! I would suggest making them to fit a 1" or 2" thick pad. Our program requires it be 2". I love your design! I like the velcro, pillow and especially the sheet! Hope you decide to offer them. I would definitly purchase one from you.
