There were a few things about Mexico City that really took me by suprise. Being that it's the third most populated city, it's got some pretty big pollution problems. But the current government is implementing Plan Verde - The Green Plan.
Part of this plan is Eco Bikes. 1100 bikes strategically placed around the city for resident's use. For a $25 annual fee, you can ride the bikes around the city in 30 minute intervals. Wait 5 minutes and you can ride it again. So cool.
Southern Cal, it's time to catch up. Eco-bike me please.
