Urban Craft Camp Calligraphy Workshop!

Horray! It's time for our first Urban Craft Camp workshop of 2014. Come learn the art of Calligraphy with us. Just in time to make your own handmade Valentine's gifts and cards!

This is an Introductory Calligraphy class where you'll learn about the various tools used in calligraphy, basic strokes and technique, and the Copperplate font alphabet. We will focus on hand-dipping and marker techniques, with an overview of various fonts, styles and ink colors.

We are super excited to be partnering with The Library Shop to host this workshop. The Library Shop is a carefully curated one-stop shop for books, jewelry, children’s merchandise, gifts and art located inside the new San Diego Central Library.
Talented professional calligrapher and illustrator Wendy Ware will be leading our workshop. With over 16 years experience, Wendy has worked with some of Southern California's top event planners, stationery retailers and corporations to create invitations, logos and event design. Wendy hand calligraphies over forty different fonts. She lives in San Diego and we are proud to be partnering with another local creative to bring this workshop to you.

Space is limited so reserve your spot at the Urban Craft Camp site

Come Make + Mingle with us!
