I admit it. I have a sugar hangover. Couldn't keep my hands out of the candy bowl. Kit Kat, Twix, Whoppers, Milk Duds, Snickers, Butterfinger....you see where I'm going with this.
Is there anything cuter than an almost-three-year-old trick or treating? I think not. "Twick-ah-tweet". Adorable.
Ben was fully engaged with the concept that knocking on the door meant getting candy in your bag, so John hauled him up stairs at almost every house. We live in Golden Hill...emphasis on the "hill".
I'm giving Best Costume to Lincoln. With the black hair, wand and glasses, he was a dead ringer. One family in our neighborhood said he was hands-down their favorite of the night and rewarded Linc with two giant handfuls of candy. Sweet!
All in all, despite the cupcake and candy overload, a great first Halloween weekend in our new neighborhood.
