After a morning of packing, loading, feeding, diapering and coffee runs...we finally got on the road to Flagstaff. We arrived at our friends' vacation home and have been happy ever since...it's a beautiful place, lots of space to roam, and backs up to Mt Humphreys. John and I had a glass of wine on the deck last night and watched a herd of elk grazing about 50 yards away. Cool.
My favorite three things about our vacation so far...
1. Afternoon siesta...cloud watching
2. The view from the windows of the house
3. A room dedicated to wine
