It's not often that we actually do all of the things planned for the weekend. In fact, we even squeezed in a little something extra this weekend. Got the soccer game and PTA planning meeting out of the way Saturday morning, just in time to head to the pumpkin patch. Hayride, corn maze, and over-priced pumpkins. Throw in a few friendly goats and the kids all gave it high marks.
A late-night IKEA trip for storage supplies and we were ready to attack the closet. John and I tackled the make-over in our pajamas Sunday morning. It went so well, I had time to take Lincoln and Emily to the Little Italy Street Fair. Chalk art, face painting and a bunch of food dipped in chocolate.
Ended the weekend with a movie and carpet picnic dinner. (a.k.a. mom's too tired to cook or set the table) Today = weekend recovery day.
