Have you had time to look at Lonny this month? As usual it's full of beautiful homes, design ideas, and unique products. It was hard to choose just three, but here are my favorites...

Nate Burkus' Chicago Offices. Love the concrete floors, outdoor pendant lamps, trestle tables, and open space. 

Love the black trim against white bedding in the bed nook, the sectional facing the windows, and geometric rug under the white-washed wood table.

Love the deep daybed, cluster of chandeliers, and wood paneling in this outdoor space.

I Love Lonny

I love when my online subscription to Lonny lands in my email box. I wish it came every month. I still miss Cottage Living and Domino, but Lonny has almost taken their place. Did you know that you can click on the items or paint colors you like in the magazine and it will give you the information on purchasing? So cool. 


Here are my favorite layouts from the December issue. Favorite things from these pictures...
1. Reflection of art above the couch. Eclectic use of art and staging. 
2. Sunburst mirror paired with unique black fireplace insert. 
3. Serene bathroom with distressed tub surround paired with bright hall color. 
4. Glossy fireplace treatment and antique family portraits. 
5. Chandelier centerpiece (love the reflection) and black doors with wood floors.
6. Detail on the fireplace mantle and the hardware the dog portrait is hung on.

Lonny + LuLu

I get so excited when I see a new issue of Lonny in my inbox. It's quickly becoming my favorite magazine. My favorite article this month is a spread on designer LuLu de Kwiatkowski's home. 

Love her use of color and texture on walls. The daybed and poster above in her twins' room are a perfect match. The matching dressers as bedside tables are a great balance for a large bed. Loved getting to see her design board where she collects things that inspire her.
